The 24 Hour Theatre Project closed out the entire New Works Festival and left the audience in hysterics. The project takes the entire production process and smashes it into 24 hours.

On Saturday night, six playwrights drew the name of a director out of a hat, the directors drew a number of cast members and then they cast their play in the same manner. Six teams were assembled and the playwrights had 12 hours to write a 10 minute play and hand over their scripts to the directors.

The directors and actors then had 12 hours to read their script and put the show up on stage.

Everyone did such a fantastic job!
